In Crusade Idle you start off with a few peasants. Soon after, you'll have a small army with a few trustworthy warriors and start defeating hostile forces.

If your leadership skills are good, you'll turn that small army into the most powerful army the world has seen. Once you're strong enough, you might be able to forever save them from the evil that surrounds them...

Captain's Log, Day 24:

It has been so long since I've had an adversary, I begin to wonder what is the point in being King if there is nothing left to conquer. Avarice is but a distant memory now, and what was once a seemingly impossible power to achieve now takes fractions of a second. But with nothing to direct all this strength towards, why am I still here?

Reflecting on this journey I can't help but think, am I the bad guy? We slaughtered so many King's and his subjects, labeled them aggressors and enemies. Yet not one of them launched the first strike. It was always me, filled with a yearning to be in charge of it all. And now that I am... what else is there? I am alone...

And so my journey ends. 767 quadrillion power and nothing to stand against me.

Nice chill idle game

Def would need some more content and things to do

Also you should add some upgrades for the king himself, like queue your king to attack armies + some upgrades for his movement speed

broo this new Clash of Clans hit diffrent

My scouts keep apparently finding tiles to explore(when AFK) despite the fact that I've explored the entire map lol

Using time-skips as currency is a bit of brilliance - really lets players set the pace to either as relaxed, or as rushed, as I'd like it to be. Really great concept! I'll be coming back to this, I just know it :)

Crusade Idle Gameplay

(1 edit) (+1)

gets very idle very suddenly

EDIT: i lost my save

Same, happened just now :(

It saves locally so if you play on your laptop and want to change to a PC it will not save.

Buildings dont keep upgrading while idle? (or only go at like 1/3 speed)

(+3)

Well, that was a fun little game! I wish the map repopulated with stronger enemies once you beat Avarice though :)

(+1)

I took so much longer(182 hours and 47 minutes, wasn't able to send my screenshot), though I was mostly idling lol.

The game looks good, theres just some small problems with progression where it takes away too long after you reach level 3 or 4 on buildings since you will need to idle far too long to hold interest of most people, since you will have nothing to do other than waiting resources to pile up enough to make the next building or wait hours for the construction to end.

I think that builders slot should be a lot more common like 1 from every boss that way people can start multiple buildings and mix between some fast upgrades with the ones that take 6 or more hours, because even with 3 builders its quite slow when most of your upgrades take more than 2 hours.

It would be nice to have a lot more enemies bellow 1m attack since those are the ones that help more to reach end-game (the wizard spells), after you beat the ones bellow 5m the others are just too strong and require dozens of battles to beat.

Maybe the game could have a rebirth system with increased amount of builders and decrease in buildings prices, that way scalling could get faster and faster.

I like it! as written below from deadpanmuesli, would also love to see queuing...

(+1)

Interesting game, good job! Especially with the improvements made so far. I wonder if you could please add the ability to queue up new areas for scouting, so I don't have to pay so close attention to the scout.

You really need to find a better way to handle the save warning. No matter what settings I use in my browser (Vivaldi), I cannot load the game. It seems to do so in its own tab except the warning still pops up over everything else and I can't do anything other than... Clicking the window to open the game in yet another tab where the same thing happens. You should provide a bypass for that and a save to file/load from file option instead.

It's rather daunting at first when your scout discovers enemies with crazy high power. But like any well thought out game, there is a plan which comes together.

I was thinking of saying that it's simple, but that's not the right word. It's not overly complex, the way many games of this genre are. There is a clear end in sight with a choice of paths to get where you're going.

And I know it's an idle game, but I've had it open on my PC for two or three days now I'm and about half way to my first billion power.

Great fun :)

The game is fun! small and simple but fun nonetheless.

I am guessing that if you run out of power, you return to base to recuperate. But I haven't tested this theory for fear that I die completely and have to restart.

So what does happen at zero power?

Fun game, by the way, but I imagine that It's going to take a while before I can beat Avarice!

(+2)

You stop at one power and do, in fact, return to base

Thanks :)

(+1)

Once you uncover the whole map, and return after being idle, you still get messages about the scout having uncovered tiles.

How to stop recruiting?

(+4)

I've now added the ability to do so

(+2)

Not have enough materials seems to "pause" the recruitment, but that's probably why you are wanting to stop it since it's taking all of your materials.

I'm just making sure to keep ahead of that curve by making sure to have plenty of income (farms, forest workers and stone workers)
